Wei Tong Chen is currently a Distinguished Professor in the Graduate School of Engineering Science and Technology at the National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (YunTech), Taiwan. He received his M.E. and Ph.D. degrees from the School of Building Construction and the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Florida, USA. Over the past three decades, Professor Chen has been actively involved in teaching and research in the field of construction engineering and management. He has also held various administrative service positions, including Dean of Engineering College, Dean of Future College, Associate Dean of Student Affairs, and Head of CCE Department. Professor Chen currently serves as an academic editor for the Advanced Civil Engineering Journal, on the editorial board of the International Journal of Project and Organisation Management, and as a guest editor for a special collection of the Sustainability Journal. He has also served the editor-in-chief of the Value Management Journal and the Property Management Journal. His research has been primarily focused on the development of novel approaches to project performance measurement, construction management, construction safety, construction cost/time relationships, and value engineering applications. He has also published over 60 research papers in international journals.

Doctor of Sciences (Engineering), Professor, Academician Mikayel G. Melkumyan (born on June 10, 1951) is a distinguished Armenian scientist and engineer specializing in earthquake resistant construction. After graduating from the Civil Engineering Department of Yerevan Polytechnic Institute in 1973 he began researching the behavior of various reinforced concrete structures under seismic actions. Following the devastating 1988 Spitak earthquake, Melkumyan focused on analyzing of structural failures and developing of innovative seismic isolation techniques. His research at the Institute of Industrial Science the University of Tokyo resulted in the “Melkumyan Hysteresis Model”, enhancing the understanding of shear behavior in structures. From 1992 through 1996 he was a teaching Professor at the College of Engineering of the American University of Armenia (AUA), giving lectures on non-linear behavior of reinforced concrete structures and design principles in earthquake resistant construction. He pioneered methods for retrofitting buildings by base isolation while keeping them operational. His patented technologies have been implemented in seismic isolation design for construction of new and retrofitting of existing buildings in Armenia, Russia, Romania, Peru, Kazakhstan, and Turkey. Melkumyan has authored 260 scientific works, including 21 books (6 monographs), 11 normative documents, codes, and standards, and 12 inventions. He is the president of the Armenian Association for Earthquake Engineering, CEO of the “Melkumyan Seismic Technologies” LLC, and has served on various international committees and editorial boards. His efforts have significantly advanced seismic engineering, positioning Armenia among the leaders in this vital field.

Dr Pilar Maria Guerrieri holds a PhD with honours in ‘Architectural Composition, History and Theory’ from Politecnico di Milano, in collaboration with the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage in Delhi and Westminster University in London. She is an Architectural Historian, particularly interested in re-reading pregnant contemporary issues from a historical perspective to give them a new light and a wider understanding. She has been extensively studying the development of megacities and the effects of cultural exchanges, exploring the meaning of terms such as ‘tradition’, ‘identity’ and ‘heritage’, and she is now interested in the relationship between city, environment and human well-being. Pilar since she finished her PhD is teaching, she has been teaching ‘History and Theory of Architecture and Human Settlements’ in Delhi at the Italian-Indian GD Goenka University, branch of Politecnico di Milano in India, and she is now teaching ‘History of Architecture and Urban Planning’, at Politecnico di Milano (DASTU) in Italy. She has been published in several international journals, participated at national and international conferences. She is the author of the book Maps of Delhi (Niyogi, 2017) and Negotiating Cultures: Delhi’s Architecture and Planning from 1912 to 1962 (Oxford University Press, 2018), Architettura di Egizio Nichelli (1937-1991), (Franco Angeli, 2022), Post Western Histories of Architecture, with Marco Biraghi, (Routledge, 2023).

Dr.-Ing. habil. Tammam Bakeer is an expert in structural engineering, specializing in structural reliability, probabilistic risk analysis, and advanced computational modeling. With over 20 years of experience, he has significantly contributed to enhancing infrastructure safety and resilience through his work in structural analysis, risk assessment, and the development of innovative engineering solutions. Holding a Habilitation and Doctorate in Structural Design from the Technical University of Dresden in Germany, Dr. Bakeer’s academic journey is marked by a dedication to bridging theory and practice. Dr. Bakeer has been instrumental in several high-profile engineering projects, including the structural analysis of the Sagrada Família and Casa Milà in Barcelona, Wipkinger Viaduct in Zurich, Friedrichswerder Church in Berlin, Bam Citadel in Iran, Sulaymaniyya Takiyya in Syria and many more. His expertise in high-performance computing and nonlinear structural analysis has been pivotal in assessing and enhancing the seismic safety of critical infrastructure. As an active member of national and European standardization committees, Dr. Bakeer has been instrumental in advancing European structural norms, with substantial contributions to the development of the Eurocodes.

Katelula is a qualified Professional Bridge Engineer with (12) years of Expertise in Structural Design, Bridge Construction & Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Track/Railway Engineering, and Engineering Projects VfM Auditing with an ability to engage in Scientific Research Independently. He has a strong interest in bridge design and construction technology and used his knowledge in specialized for construction of complex extradosed and cable-stayed bridges across the globe. He has been involved in several landmark cable-stayed and extradosed bridge projects in Tanzania including the Tanzanite Extradosed Bridge (Construction, max span 125m, length 1.03km) and J.P. Magufuli Extradosed Bridge (Construction, max span 160m, length 3.0km), Nyerere / Kigamboni Cable Stayed Bridge (Research Engineer, max span 200m, length 680m). Other Projects; SGR Project Lot 1: (Construction), J.P. Magufuli Hostel (Design and Construction), Beijing Metro 19 Line Civil Engineering Construction 09 Contract Segment in China (Construction). Katelula has extensive experience in different types of bridge construction methodologies including PSC Beam Bridge, Free Cantilever Methodology (FCM), Full Length Supporting Methodology (FLSM), Cable-Stayed Bridge Methodology, Incremental Launching Method (ILM), Beam Slab Bridge Methodology(BSBM), Full Span Method (FSM) and Span by Span Method (SSM).

Danial Mohammadzadeh S. is currently lecturer. He received degree in Civil Engineering in field of Geotechnical Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and has over ten years of experiences and teaching in Building Construction, Geotechnical Engineering, and Environmental Analyses projects. He has authored over sixty publications in archival journals and conference proceedings, eleven inventions, eleven research projects and four books which have been cited for over 959 times and h-index 14 by different researchers around the world. All of the papers have been published to the best journals and conferences. He is a lecturer in Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in Iran, Azad University of Mashhad, Technical and Vocational University of Khorasan Razavi Province (Montazei Technical University of Mashhad) in Iran, Eqbal Institute of Higher Education Lahoori and Sama University. Also, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and Azad University of Mashhad, co-supervisore in the dissertations of a number of graduated students in Universities of Mashhad and an associate member of ASCE. In addition, he is a member of the Editorial Board four journals, Regular Reviewer of five journals, fifteen international conferences and speaker invitation in six international conferences (Canada, Rome, etc). He was mayor advisor in Mashhadd. He has received some award certificates for researching, patents and research projects. Furthermore, he is supreme consultant action of Khorasan Razavi Inventor Association and he is director of researches and Elite of Khorasan Construction Engineering Organization and head of Geotechnical unit of Khorasan Razavi Construction Engineering Organizations. Dr. Abdollah Tabaroei is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Eshragh Institute of Higher Education, Bojnourd, Iran, since September 2020. His research focuses on various aspects of geotechnical engineering, including physical modeling, in-situ tests, soil-structure interaction, granular soil behavior under cyclic loading, and numerical simulations. He has contributed extensively to international journals, with publications addressing deep excavations, earthquake geotechnics, tunnel engineering, and soil reinforcement. Dr. Tabaroei's work demonstrates a strong commitment to advancing geotechnical knowledge and engineering practice.

Ayat-Allah specializes in the modeling and optimization of energy systems under current and future climate conditions impacted by climate change scenarios. Her research has been presented at conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals, with citations from esteemed organizations such as the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the International Science Council, the Mediterranean Experts on Climate and Environmental Change (MedECC), and the Universidad Privada de Tacna (Faculty of Engineering, Research Unit, Tacna, Peru). She holds a graduate degree from École Polytechnique, where her thesis, focused on the performance of grid-connected photovoltaic systems located on the roof of the Institut Universitaire de Technologie (IUT), Cachan, France, was conducted at CentraleSupélec–Université Paris-Saclay, within the Laboratoire de Génie Électrique et Électronique de Paris (GeePs), in collaboration with the Laboratoire des Signaux & Systèmes (L2S). Ayat-Allah obtained her Ph.D. from the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) at the Laboratoire de Météorologie Dynamique (LMD) of École Polytechnique, Institut Pierre-Simon Laplace (IPSL). Her doctoral work contributed to the establishment of the Energy4Climate Interdisciplinary Center (E4C), a collaboration between IP Paris and École des Ponts ParisTech, supported by the MedOcean research contract. A summary of her thesis was published in La Revue de l'Énergie, edited by the French Energy Council. During her studies, she participated in an exchange program at the École Européenne d'Ingénieurs en Génie des Matériaux (EEIGM), École Nationale Supérieure d’Électricité et de Mécanique (ENSEM), and the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) at Lorraine University in Nancy. Ayat-Allah serves on the editorial boards of several journals, including IOP Science - Environmental Research: Energy (EREN), the SAE International Journal of Sustainable Transportation, Energy, Environment, & Policy, and Frontiers in Water. She took part in the 2024 Women and Science Month at École Polytechnique-IP Paris and participated to the ECOCLIM summer school at the Laboratoire de Physique des 2 Infinis Irène Joliot-Curie (IJClab), which operates under the auspices of the CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research), Université Paris-Saclay, and Université Paris Cité. Ayat-Allah is also a member of various networks, including AX École Polytechnique, EGU, ANH Academy, Acfas. Additionally, she contributes to several magazines, including La Jaune et la Rouge (Magazine of Alumni of École Polytechnique, France), L'Alternative Électrique.ca - Tout sur l'électrification des transports (Canada), the Mediterranean Hydrogen Alliance (MHA) (Spain), and énergie/mines & carrières (Morocco). She was recognized with the "Best Researcher Award" at two different International Research Awards events and achieved IOP Trusted Reviewer status. Ayat-Allah is also a member of the scientific and organizing committees of various European conferences, such as the World Forum & Expo on Environmental Science & Applications (Munich, Germany), the Annual International Congress on Renewable Energy (Oxford, UK), and the World Academy of Science, Engineering, and Technology (WASET). Ayat-Allah is currently a researcher at the Laboratory of Renewable Energies and Advanced Materials (LERMA) and an assistant professor, teaching physics courses at engineering schools and conducting eco-design workshops at an architecture school at the International University of Rabat (IUR).
